Dr Debbie Phyland is a speech pathologist, lecturer, researcher and a music theatre singer-performer. She is a co-founder and partner of the Melbourne Voice Analysis Centre, and has a speech pathology private practice, Voice Medicine Australia. Debbie also currently works as the Clinical Research Director for the ENT Head and Neck Department of Monash Health and Monash University. She is the immediate past president of the Laryngology Society of Australasia (2014-2017).
Along with Fellowship category (2014), Debbie has been honoured with the prestigious Speech Pathology Australia Association’s Elinor Wray Award (2010) for ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Profession’. She has numerous publications across the ENT field in swallowing, voice and neurological conditions and completed her PhD in 2014.
