Caitriona is a Speech Pathologist, who specialises in Occupational Voice. She received her
Masters in Communication Sciences from Pennsylvania State University, and her Certificate
of Clinical Competency CCC from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
She gained her clinical experience in the ENT department of the Geneva University Hospital,
where she was part of the faculty for 14 years. She was awarded the Van Lawrence Prize by
the British Voice Association in 1999 for her presentation on Voice and Emotion.
She holds a Masters in Business from University College Dublin. Professionally she draws on
her background in Business to give her greater insight into the work environment impacting Occupational Voice users.
